A 'Trend' plot
is simply a number of amplitude values - snapshots of the total vibration
(vibration at all frequencies) - over a period of time.
-
The interval between
readings will be the time elapsed between those readings. That time interval
could be anything from months to milliseconds depending on the specifics
of the vibration program and system(s) involved.
-
A trend plot offers
limited analysis tools (there is no identification of specific frequencies,
for instance) but can be an important indicator of developing problems.
