V-Trainer Library CD
The V-Trainer Library CD - is incredibly simple. It runs in a browser
environment on your PC. Training manuals contain literally hundreds
of animations and images that make the subjects far more interesting
and understandable. The technical writing is done with the focus
firmly on simple, common sense explanations. V-Trainer Library CD includes:

A 300+ Page
Basic Theory Manual - A fully multimedia training class on CD. In
fact, this Basic Theory Manual contains everything covered in all of
the lecture portions of all of our training classes - the IVA, PD-I,
PD-II and IA-I classes. The only thing you don’t get with the CD is
the instructor interaction.

A 50+ Page
Field Test Manual - This animated manual covers how to set up,
execute and interpret a wide variety of field tests that include
phase (with strobes and photoeyes), looseness, soft foot, background
vibration, resonance, shape analysis and much more.

Tribology Manual - This illustrated manual covers a broad range of
subjects from what does oil actually do, how and why we analyze oil

A new case
study for the student to solve. Each case study provides background
information on the machine, a schematic, ‘live’ data to analyze
(moveable cursors, harmonics, sidebands, etc.), over 100 field tests
to perform and nearly 50 corrective actions to choose from. Each
test and action costs ‘points’ though and your score will be judged
once you complete the case. There is a separate on-line manual
dedicated to this aspect of V-Trainer.
How does the licensing work ?
- The Library CD is sold on an
12 month subscription basis expiring December 31, in the calendar
year after the year you purchased. You get up to 11 bonus months at
no charge by purchasing V-Trainer early in the year. The CD will stop working once the
subscription runs out.
- During the subscription period,
however, the CD may be used by anyone on any PC.
Why is it sold as a
subscription ?
Two reasons:
- First, it allows us to offer it at
a low initial price. The first period (expires December 31, the year
after you purchase) cost is just $249.
- Example1: Purchase V-Trainer in
February 2006 and the CD license will expire on December 31, 2007,
giving you the 12 month license plus up to 11 free bonus months of
access.
- Example2: Purchase V-Trainer in
September 2006 and the CD license will expire on December 31, 2007,
you the 12 month license plus up to 4 free bonus months of access.
- You always get the minimum 12
month license + free bonus months based on your actual purchase
date!
